Rural Computer Training Academy
Empowering rural communities through quality, affordable computer education since inception.

Aim & Objectives
The aim of Rural Computer Training Academy is to provide comprehensive computer education to common, middle-class, and economically weaker sections of society across all age groups. We prepare learners not only for employment in urban centres but also for meaningful opportunities in their own villages, supporting the government’s computer-literacy movement nationwide.
Our Mission
Right education for candidates at the right place and at the right cost, building the nation on the latest knowledge.
Our Vision
To spread computer literacy throughout rural India through high-quality, effective education with continual improvement for student satisfaction.
Bridging the Rural–Urban Digital Divide
Technical education has already transformed millions of lives in India and continues to fuel economic growth across every sector. Yet several pockets of rural India remain untouched by the technological revolution, where modernising the education system is still a distant dream. Students in these areas do not lack the willingness to learn; what they lack is the opportunity and access to quality, affordable educational resources.
A Non-Profit Committed to Rural Education
Rural Computer Training Academy (RCTA) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to delivering quality computer education to the young generation living in villages. The organisation focuses on three core training areas:
Basic Computer Literacy
Foundational courses that introduce learners to essential computing skills, from operating systems to word processing.
Computer as a Learning Tool
Training students and teachers to use computers as a tool for enhanced learning in schools and at home.
Hardware Training
Hands-on training in computer hardware assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting for technical self-reliance.

What We Do
RCTA currently operates twenty computer centres across various locations, providing basic computer literacy to approximately 5,000 students. In collaboration with partner organisations, RCTA also runs computer education programmes in three rural schools, bringing digital skills directly into the classroom.
Many students who complete the RCTA programme go on to secure employment at reputed firms, schools, and computer centres. This demonstrates that quality education, when made accessible, can meaningfully change career outcomes even for learners from underserved communities.
Looking ahead, RCTA plans to open two additional centres and expand its curriculum to include Web Designing and Adobe Photoshop training. The organisation is also in the process of publishing an MS Office assignments book that will serve as a practical workbook for students throughout their course.
